Type CMD in the search box. Select Command Prompt or CMD.
The Command Prompt window appears. Type wmic bios get smbiosbiosversion and then press Enter. The string of letters and numbers following SMBBIOSBIOSVersion is the BIOS version. Note the BIOS version number.
